Welcome to Blanket Bliss
My name is Zea (pronounced 'Z') I'm a tinker, dabbler, doodler...which means I love to create, especially handmade craft items people can enjoy.
I grew up on a farm riding horses, climbing trees, taking care of the farm animals and truly enjoying the outdoors. From a very young age I had a passion to create things; stories, drawing, painting, crocheting, woodworking, leatherwork. Anything that entailed designing it and creating it, I was onboard. As an adult, career and family put my artistic endeavors on the back burner the past 35 years. Now as an 'empty nester' I'm back in school (Graduate school, yikes!) and in my down time I crochet; mostly blissfully beautiful, soft, cozy blankets. These hand made items have multiple purposes for me; to make lovely hand crafted products for folks to enjoy, a means to make money to donate to my many charities and an excellent way to decompress from school studies (and the pandemic!).
